So the time has finally come for me to move out of my first appartment, and I am actually a little bit sad. I am going to have a little bit of trouble parting with this place because it so nice. But alas I know that I am moving on to something new and exciting. Just the other day I started moving some of my stuff into my fraternity. I am looking forward to living there and enjoying all of the new experiences that I am going to encounter.

So I have recently enrolled in my summer classes here at Florida, and they are kind of dull. I am sad to say that my advertising class is going to be another boring class taught be a teach who doesnt speak good english. But the good news is I think I have a job working in public relations for a radio station. We will see what other exciting things I can find to do this summer.

I cant believe this, but Anna Nicole Smith is still in the news! She is almost getting as much coverage as when the world trade centers were bombed. This is unbelieveable; how can people be this dumb!? She was famous for marring a really wealthy old guys, having a reality show, and being a model. Lots of models OD on drugs, so why is she getting so much coverage. All I am saying is that if anyone out there reading this blog knows someone at FOX or CNN could you please tell them that there are stories out there that are far more newsworthy. Thanks

I have been following Ultimate fighting a lot lately, and I have realized that it ranks high on my sports scale. I am actually going to go as far as saying that it ties football for my favorite sport. I have been following many of the fighters, but one really sticks out in my mind right now. His name is Diego Sanchez. This guy is tough, and has some of the best conditioning I have ever seen in UFC! He just doesnt quit, and on top of all of that, he is undefeated. His style is awesome as well, he can wrestle as well as box. I am looking forward to seeing him get in his title shot in the future, because all UFC fans know he deserves it.

I dont mean to be insensative, but I am so tired of hearing about Anna Nicole Smith on the news!!! We know she is dead, and that was all I needed to know. This is should have been a blurb in the news if anything at all. Why are we still getting 24/7 breaking news coverage of this crap!?! The reason why is because the news has a credo that says "If it bleeds, it leads.". This story has no newsworthiness at all. But people is easy for dumb minds to digest, and its easy for the news to produce a real life dramatic situation on camera, and this story is the perfect catalyist for the drama. So if anyone from CNN, NBC, or ABC is out there and reading this could you please tell your producers to move this thing along. And as for FOX news, well...they are pretty much hopeless.

Did anyone catch the Oscars last night? Well I did, and I thought they were actually pretty good. I guess I was so impressed because I am used to watching such crappy awards shows such as the MTV awards and garbage like this. I believe that the Acdemy truely did make some good dicsions this year, and I was really happy that Martin Scorsese won best Director and best picture. He truely is one of the greats, and I am so happy that he is still making movies. Although he does need to find someone better to do casting because Leonardo DeCampreno is a joke. I dont know why he gets casted in big movies. He cant act, and he is clearly an idiot.

I have always said that I hate hippies and that if I could have it my way I would find a way to ban than them from earth. But recently I have taken a strange fancy to the hare krishna's on campus. I am not saying I am going to go hang out with them, or even embrace what they believe in or whale about. But they are so weird that it is kind of interesting to see them on campus. I guess i just like them because they are a break from the norm. They bring food...I guess they cant be all that bad. I have recently taken a notice to how advertisers are marketing to younger and younger factions. Especially with alcohol and cigarettes, which is really bad. I believe that people should start taking more notice to the way that advetisers are marketing these explicit products and consumers should be more critical of this for young consumers sakes.

Here at the University of Florida greek life is very dominate, and one of the best ways to meet people on campus. It is also one of the best ways to get involved. It can be very hard to make a decision, which is what I am in the process of doing right now. The conclusion that I have come to is that you really need to look at the quality of people that you will be asscociating with, and forming life long relationships with. But most of all, never subject your morals to being placed second to someone elses.

I went to St.Augustine with some of my good friends this weekend to have a day at the beach. When we entered this amazingly beautiful town we see all of these historical building and amazing architecture. Later on we come to find out that there is a college here, and there are actually students! So we decide to start asking around and get a little more info about this place, and we find out that girls and boys are not even allowed to be in the same rooms together, or same dorm area. How stupid is that!!! Soon after we learn all of this we follow some students who have painted there bodies and are going to a basketball game. So we are currently assuming that this game might be kind of wild. Wrong, we walk in (for free) and everyone is sitting down, not even cheering! The gym was smaller than my middle schools gym, and everyone is starring at us in our Florida gators t-shirts. I went wild! I was yelling ya Flagler lets go!!! My attempt to get this crowd going didnt work at all. After the game we had multiple girls offer to buy our Florida shirts from us! I couldnt believe that these girls were actually going to give us money for these shirts! I feel sorry for you Flagler kids because you have a boring school, but then wait and think about it again and you have a kickass beach. So I guess you need to just weigh your priorities if your thinking about going to Flagler College.

How are we as Americans, and other nations suppose to believe what the news ever tells us. I recomend all people out there not to watch fox news. I am so proud to be a florida gator! I cant believe how many people are eating there words after Florida dominated OSU. Everyone in the country was wrong. For the reasons of a.) they thought ohio state would win, and b.) they thought it might be a close game. It is so amazing to be the first and only school in the country to hold both the national basketball and football title at the same time. Plain and simple we are the best school for sports in the country, and one of the best for acidemia.

It seems that recently many people my age(20-25) have been getting married. I think this is great if you have the means, a.k.a. funds, and reason. But most people my age dont. I wasnt to skeptical about the whole thing until recently when someone who I knew asked via facebook for money to help fund there wedding. I was shocked and kind of disappointed. One because a wedding is a big deal, and if you dont have the money to fund a wedding how are you supposed to start a life together. I dont believe anyone should be married until they are completely ready, and they have everything else in there life in line. Because you cant start a new life unless you have everything squared away.

What is going on these days with stand up comics? First Micheal Richards goes of on an some guy being a jerk at his show, and now Pauly Shore is having issues. Pauly was recently punched on stage at a stand up show in Texas by some redneck. My question is where the hell was security? This guy just walked on stage and got right in Shores face and cold cocked him! I mean come on people this Pauly Shore he is a big celebrity. What would bio-dome have been without him...nothing! All I am suggesting is that Pauly Shore staff away from the south and comedy clubs think twice before they book someone, oh ya and upgrade security.

So I recently attended a party where all of the hosts were french. Now if you dont already know this, I will tell you now, FRENCH PEOPLE LOVE THERE WINE!!! My roommate Robby invited one of his friends to go to this party, as well as myself. This guy decided to bring the gift of wine, or so he called it. ARBOR MIST IS NOT WINE!!! And last time I checked arbor mist is shitty! I would be offended if some one tryed to bring me arbor mist. This stuff was bad. I mean ya its the thought that counts, but at some point if you dont want to splurge and spend more than $2.00 then please just dont bother.
